Outflowing

The key principle is giving, or outflowing.

Give and receive freely, so as to maintain the rhyhm of life.

Don’t take a grasping posture towards life.

Give to others, for pleasure not as a sacrifice, because it’s fun.

We all have an infinite supply of love and happiness within us.

Don’t think we have to get something from the outside of us to be happy.

We must learn to contact our inner source of happiness and satisfaction, and flow it outward to share with others.

It feels good, and is the nature of love, as we are loving beings.

Give and more love can flow in, and the more you get from the world.

Giving becomes its own reward.

Learn to say “no”, when giving doesn’t feel right.

Also, remember to give to yourself.

Exercises in outflowing:

  1. Appreciate others. List the people you wish to give to. Think of ways to do so in the next week. Choose things which make you feel good. Use “thanks” more often. Say why you’re grateful.
  2. Give items you don’t need to others, who will appreciate them.
  3. If you are inclined to spend as little as possible, always hunting for a bargain, try spending a little more unnecessarily. Treat yourself, pay for a friend, donate money to a good cause. This shows you have faith in the abundance you’ve been affirming to. Action speaks louder than words.
  4. Tithe your income, e.g 5% to good causes. This supports the creative energy, and acknowledges all you receive comes from the universe or God. Giving back maintains outflowing.
  5. Be creative and think of other ways to outflow your energy into the universe for the good of yourself and others.

As someone who has experienced mental health issues, it is my mission to help other people with their own battles in the field of mental health by sharing the knowledge and information that I have found to be beneficial. In the wake of mental health issues, financial challenges are inevitable and given that our antiquated education system makes us ill-equipped to deal with money matters in adult life, it is my hope that through my own experiences I can provide people with good old-fashioned basic economic sense. I also have a passion for history and nostalgia, especially football in the 1970s.
