Compliments of the Day

Compliments of the Day
Unfortunately as human beings living in this strange world surrounded by all manner of negativity, we have a tendency to find fault with most things in life, gossip in a negative manner, as well as being critical and judgmental regarding people.
It is sad that we are easily inclined to say nasty, malicious things about people at the drop of a hat.
Why not embrace a challenge by commiting from this day forward to think of nice things to say about people, in their face and behind their back.
People will certainly be pleasantly surprised to receive compliments and to hear someone say nice things about them in their face.
It is sad to observe that most people are only concerned with themselves and their lives, without for one minute taking the time to think about or show an interest in other people.
With such an enlightened attitude, you will certainly stand out like a beacon of light, and it may surprise you that you will feel much better being kind and complimentary to people.
Why not put it to the test. One thing’s for certain, it will have a hugely beneficial effect on your mental and physical health and well-being.

See Challenges as Opportunities!

See Challenges as Opportunities
As I’m sure you’ll agree, life is full of challenges and we are rather inclined to think of challenges as negative problems which are unpleasant.
What we often fail to realise is that challenges can contain opportunities to gain valuable experiences and learn new skills, which in turn strengthens your position and leads to self-improvement.
Although hard to believe at first, tackling challenges head-on in a spirit of adopting a positive, constructive manner can be extremely satisfying, especially if it leads to a successful resolution.
Indeed it has been said that great mental and physical health requires challenges, and this is possibly linked to the importance of having dreams and goals to work towards, and provide you with a reason for looking forward towards getting up in the morning.
So remember the next time you are faced with challenges, look for the opportunities hidden within, and enjoy each challenge as you adopt a positive stance.
Rise to the challenge and seize the opportunity!

Avoid Negative People Like the Plague!

The Power of Religion
Access the Power of Religion as a Foundation in Your Life
While you can still benefit from positive thinking without being religious and believing in God, it seems to me that you certainly need some great eternal power to believe in and to base your faith and belief upon.
From a personal point of view, I have always gained great strength from my religion of Christianity, and using God and Jesus’ teachings as a moral compass, shining light and a guide to living life with great compassion and love.
Being a Christian means so much more than just going to church on Sunday, and indeed some people would argue that some of the greatest Christians have hardly frequented a place of religion.
The key element is that you live your life with a great sense of love and compassion every single day of the week.
And when it comes to realizing your dreams and goals, it will certainly help your sense of belief and faith if you are religious, believing that God is on your side.
